Political Policies for the Trinity Seanad Election 2025

Core Commitment:

I pledge to be a dynamic, independent, and principled voice, advocating for the needs of ordinary Irish people. I know that people have had to tighten their belts over the last few years due to rising costs of living. As a listening ear in the Seanad, I commit to push for real and impactful legislative change to advance social justice and human rights throughout our society.

A VOICE OF ELEVATION

I will use my voice in the Seanad to call on us as a society to move beyond seeing one another through the veils of characteristics or issues that divide us and create a society where economic policies, public policies and social infrastructures are based on our shared human values and vital unmet needs.

 About Me

I am running for the Trinity Seanad election to help shape Ireland’s future through progressive public policies rooted in equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). I believe our society must move beyond basic EDI principles to a more profound state of human elevation, focusing on shared humanity rather than divisive characteristics.

If elected, I will:

  • Empower Third-Level Institutions: Champion increased funding, global reputation enhancement, and a greater role for universities in educating future leaders.
  • Promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI): Advocate for the rights of the elderly, the homeless, people with disabilities, families, migrants, and the Travelling community.
  • Affordable Housing: Push for policies that reduce costs and ensure fair access to housing, including student accommodation.
  • Strengthen Cross-Border Relations: promote dialogue, peacebuilding, and collaboration across borders, exploring mutual recognition of certain court orders and fostering shared prosperity to create a more unified and prosperous Ireland.

If elected, I will advocate for greater political and social inclusion, including improved accessibility for the elderly and individuals with disabilities to public transport, equitable 1housing, education, employment, and healthcare services. I will support initiatives that strengthen third-level institutions’ capacity to drive Ireland’s economic and social progress while addressing global challenges through innovation. I will also work to strengthen the relationship between the North and the Republic.
